Art Show/Open House
It will be great to see all of the art work and open up our school to prospective families for the Art Show/Open House on November 8th from 12 pm – 2 pm. We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up, clean-up, and baking some treats. Please contact Jenna Howe at jhowe89@comcast.net to volunteer.
Norton Chartley Halloween Parade
Pinecroft will NOT be participating in the Halloween Parade this year. Instead we will focus our efforts on helping to make the Open House/Art Show a success. Sorry for the last minute notice!
PTO Meeting November 2, 2009
Our next PTO meeting will be held on November 2 at 7:00 pm at the school. An agenda is in the works – the agenda will include a list of the volunteer opportunities for discussion at the meeting as well as to gather volunteers for the positions. We hope that we can provide some great support to the teachers and students this year – come on out on the 2nd and provide your thoughts/insights – we’d love to have you.
Classroom Coordinators
We are looking for more volunteers to serve as classroom coordinators – the classroom coordinators assist the teachers as needed, sometimes planning special events for the kids such as holiday festivities or other classroom events. Based on feedback from those involved in previous years, we thought that it would be best to have two volunteers for each of the classrooms. We have one volunteer for each of the classrooms (Kim Martinez K/1, Lori Prew 2/3 and Lisa Dudek 4/5) Please let us know if you would be willing to serve with Kim, Lori and Lisa as a classroom coordinator in the K/1, 2/3, or 4/5 classrooms.
