The Pinecroft School is committed to a child-centered academic curriculum that develops a love of learning and the confidence to explore ideas. We encourage our students to be active participants in the learning process, developing the ability to make choices and handle independence. The curriculum is structured, yet flexible enough to accommodate students’ special interests and skills. Academic areas – Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Spanish and Physical Education – are integrated wherever possible. Students often work across grade levels on collaborative projects. Use of classroom computers is integrated into instruction as well.
