Margarita Arcand is presently the Spanish teacher at Pinecroft, a position she has held for the past 10 years. She is the parent of three adult children who graduated from Pinecroft. Margarita has been involved with and chaired many committees while her children attended Thayer Academy after Pinecroft.
Pam Booth is an Educational Consultant specializing in training families who have a child with a cognitive disability and is on the board of directors for 3-21 Foundation, Inc. She has extensive management experience gained during her prior career with Thomson-CompuMark, a Thomson Reuters company. Pam is also the parent of a 2009 Pinecroft graduate.
Jim Counihan is a managing partner at Prism Venture Works, an early stage venture capital firm, and an attorney. He has been a member of the board of directors of over a dozen companies. Jim is also the parent of two current Pinecroft Students. Jim currently serves as President of the Pinecroft board of directors.
Jennifer Howe is a Principal at Symmes Maini & McKee Associates, a Cambridge based design firm and currently serves as Director of the Federal Government Studio. Jennifer is a Professional Civil Engineer and serves on the board of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts. Jennifer is the parent of a Pinecroft graduate and two current students.
Tom Noel is a former television and radio reporter who has been practicing law for 25 years, or, as his three Pinecroft-educated children (P’02, P’04, and P’08) like to say – “since dinosaurs roamed the earth.” Tom’s office is in Providence and serves clients in trademark, copyright, trade secret, and brand protection matters. A Norton resident, Tom chairs the Norton Zoning Board of Appeals and has served on the boards of several charitable and non-profit organizations. Tom is past President of the Pinecroft board of directors.
Michelle Simmons has been in the banking industry since 1985 . Her experience is in the customer sales and service area of the bank. She has been with Rockland trust for the past 15 years and has managed a branch for five of those years. Michelle participates in local events and is a member of business and non-profit organizations in her market area. She maintains involvement with the Taunton area school-to-career as a mentor, is involved with the Taunton Chamber and several networking groups in the area and has held the positions of President and treasurer. Prior to joining Rockland Trust Michelle worked in the customer service field for People Savings, Fleet, Shawmut Bank, and First Bristol County National Bank. Michelle attended Raynham and Bridgewater schools as well as New England College of Finance. She resides in North Dighton.
