Pinecroft has a New Home!
After months of working, waiting and wondering, we’re thrilled to announce that The Pinecroft School has purchased the former North Rehoboth School at 133 Tremont Street, Rehoboth. Renovations have begun, and we anticipate a mid-year relocation to our new home!
In each of our three prior locations, including our current one in Norton, Pinecroft has remained committed to developing children’s love of learning in an atmosphere of respect, warmth and excitement. Our previous locations have served us well, but having a permanent building owned by the school provides a multitude of opportunities and an even better value to our families – while still keeping the small intimate feel of the original Pinecroft School.
This is also an exciting time for Pinecroft, as the celebration of our 30th year coincides with our move! Plans are underway for an especially festive year-end Cookout. We hope many of our Pinecroft families past and present, as well as our alumni and friends will join us to reminisce and look ahead. Our parent-run Pinecroft Community Group is already hard at work brainstorming activities for this exciting time in our school’s history.

Welcome to The Pinecroft School!
Families seek a small setting for their children for a variety of reasons. At Pinecroft beginning in grade one, an individualized “plan” of work is created weekly for each child, allowing children to work independently when not engaged in cooperative or whole-group work. Children work at their own pace (slower for weaknesses, moving ahead for strengths) with plenty of opportunity to actively explore individual interests. With a child-centered curriculum that includes hands-on science experiments and other experiential activities, we work to instill a passion for learning right from the start – in an atmosphere charged with possibility and imagination.
Field Trip to the NE Aquarium
Students at the Pinecroft School recently enjoyed a field trip to the NE Aquarium where they learned about the wonders of the world’s oceans and got some hands on experience with sea creatures large and small.
